I conducted multiple researches on brands and organizations (restaurants/supermarkets) that are all about food in the UK, and I wanted to know how they are facing the problem of food waste.
Through my research, I discovered a problem: the boring nature of the rules, which makes young people tired of sticking to them.I began to think about what it would take to make it interesting. In my first semester I took Game Design and realized many new ideas. Many games can interestingly make many people change their minds through subtle influences and metaphorical worldviews. For example, some of the cooler games can be built as examples of utopian games that portray utopian game worlds that benefit the LGBTQ+ community.
During that time of study, I played a game called: Carbostone. it addressed sustainability and the goal was to advocate for carbon dioxide reduction. This coincided with what I ultimately wanted to achieve.
It inspired me that maybe I could gamify my design content.
